Rotary Club of Nairobi Upperhill sets out to ensure that the girls at Kibera Girls Soccer Academy girls, stay in school, perform well and continue to secondary and higher institutions of learning. Attending school has been shown to have a positive effect on girls' lives, as well as their future. This project is geared towards promoting retention of the girl child in school through attending to their menstrual hygiene management.

Further, we kitted the Science Laboratory with science equipment to enhance the equality of educational opportunities by making learning interactive and fun. This three-year commitment is based on an MOU signed between KGSA and the Rotary Club of Nairobi Upperhill and is aimed at supplying 130 girls with sanitary towels over the three-year period. We have so far handed over 10,000 sanitary napkins to the girls. We further enhanced the partnership by donating laboratory equipment worth 400 dollars in partnership with RC Upper Eden in Scotland that will last them through the years. This project is funded with Kshs Club donations for sanitary towels and 250 Pounds from Upper Eden (Scotland) for science equipment. the sanitary towel is a constant given by club members who fundraised within their networks to raise the amount for the three-year partnership. We continue to partner with other clubs and stakeholders.
